Everyday Creation
Everyday Creation is about purpose, awe and good vibrations. The show's title refers to three types of creation: The ways we express ourselves (for example, with art, music and so many other pursuits fueled by purpose and passion); the parts of life that fill us with awe (birth, death, love, the big picture); and our personal power to create our best possible lives while also making the world a better place. Here, you’ll encounter interviews, essays and some episodes created simply for information and fun. I'm your host Kate Jones, welcoming you to Everyday Creation.
Everyday Creation
What if ... it's all fair?
This short essay about fairness is the third in a series. If it intrigues you in any way, please check out the first two "What ifs," which are Episode 1 and Episode 68. I explain the long gap between the two in the description for #68.
I also have other essays related to this theme. In case you want to check them out, they're Episodes 55 and 57: "Smile on a Summer's Day" and "Picturing a Kinder, Gentler World," and Episodes 30 and 69: "Less Stress, More Happiness" and a follow-up to Episode 30 titled "Less Stress, More Happiness: An Afterthought."
This is Kate Jones. Thank you for listening to Everyday Creation, available on YouTube and in podcast directories including Apple, Audible, iHeart and Spotify.
Kate:
00:00:02.720 --> 00:00:09.150
Hello, this is Kate Jones with Everyday Creation, a show about purpose, awe, and good vibrations.
00:00:09.370 --> 00:00:12.079
Today's episode is about fairness.
00:00:12.290 --> 00:00:14.779
Here are a few thoughts to consider:
00:00:15.200 --> 00:00:18.959
What if ... we choose the experiences we have?
00:00:19.360 --> 00:00:20.430
What if ... we
00:00:20.490 --> 00:00:24.450
also agree with others to have these experiences together?
00:00:24.980 --> 00:00:27.030
What if ... there is no blame
00:00:27.110 --> 00:00:29.710
because everyone agreed ahead of time?
00:00:30.220 --> 00:00:31.730
And what if ...
00:00:32.210 --> 00:00:33.859
everything is fair
00:00:33.910 --> 00:00:37.109
even when that doesn't seem possible?
00:00:38.030 --> 00:00:43.139
If these "What ifs" pique your interest, please check out other episodes that touch on this theme.
00:00:43.330 --> 00:00:45.720
They're noted in the show's description.
00:00:46.300 --> 00:00:49.240
Thank you for listening to Everyday Creation,
00:00:49.270 --> 00:00:52.289
and please share this episode as you wish.
