Troubled by all the tension and divisiveness? Here’s a humble offering in the form of a visualization/meditation that may help ease our stress.

It begins with holding ourselves and our surroundings in the highest light, and ends with love and gratitude. In between, it's short yet expansive, and kind of sweet.

Hope it helps.

This is Kate Jones. Thank you for listening to Everyday Creation, available on YouTube and in podcast directories including Apple, Spotify and Audible.

[Kate's introduction]

Hello, this is Kate Jones with Everyday Creation, a show about living our purpose and lifting our vibes.

With so many of us feeling anxious and unsettled about the tension and divisiveness in the world, here’s a humble offering to help ease our stress.

It’s in the form of a short visualization that can turn our powerful thoughts toward best possible outcomes.

After all, in troubling times, we need to do what we can do, and that is to start with our own selves.

So here goes:

[Visualization/meditation begins]
First, hold yourself and your immediate surroundings in the highest light.

Then begin expanding the light until it includes your country, then all other countries, then the entire planet.

See all inhabitants comforted by kindness, supported by love and goodness, and awakened to higher consciousness.

Finish with a smile and feel awash in love and gratitude.

[Kate's closing remarks]

That’s it, a really simple visualization that came to me one day while I was at my desk, writing in my journal.

You’ve no doubt come across similar meditations or visualizations. This one just felt right to me for this particular moment in our lives.

I’m Kate Jones, a writer/editor/podcaster who’s been working on lifting my own consciousness oh, just about my entire life.

I’m no expert and certainly not a spiritual teacher; I just share what works for me and hope some of it resonates with you too. If it does, please pass it on.

Thank you for listening to Everyday Creation.
